I splashed out a bit today on the dvd of The Adventures of Priscilla Qeen of the Desert. I had to traipse all over town to find it, too. Akers Mic even said they could only find it on the system as Zone 1 and that it wasn’t even released over here yet, and I had sort of given up when I passed Filmens Hus (The House of Film – contains the film museum, a research library and a theatre used by the film club) and thought, hmm, I’ll just check the shop… And sure enough, they had it. At a rather higher price than I had hoped, but I bought it anyway. I had had this sudden urge to see it again. Which I have now done. It is as good as ever. And now I’m listening to ABBA.
In honour of that I did another quiz, though it wasn’t very good – too easy to guess the results and too many spelling mistakes (not being critical or anything). Besides, is it only me, or is that “You are…” text a bit self-contradictory?
