Oh ha ha ha – ROTFL…
At Pemberley a few months ago someone in a silly mood wondered what it would have been like if Austen had written LotR… And the result was just reposted, with some amendments. (Warning: This will only really be funny if you know the opening of Pride and Prejudice as well as LotR, for the latter, having seen the film might suffice.)
Music in my head: If You’re Feeling Sinister (Belle & Sebastian – rather annoying, really, as I only know two lines. Really, I should make sure I know more of the lyrics for songs that are likely to get stuck like that – normally, though, I absorb the lyrics without even intending to.)
