Though I imagine most people would be a bit surprised if their cherry tomatoes tasted of chili (with one l, what chilli with a double l is, I have no clue).

Chilli = hot pepper. Though the tag is very intriguing indeed! :)
Well, no. The point is chili as in hot pepper is spelt with just one l, at least in both English and Norwegian (as far as I can make out). But that is beside the point, chilies are still not very closely related to cherry tomatoes…
