Oodles

Annetten answers oodles of questions, and so naturally, I have to too…

Well, you know, it’s Friday.

LAST

..book you read: Jane Lindskold’s Through Wolf’s Eyes is the last book I finished. I’m in the middle of Wolf’s Head, Wolf’s Heart now.

..movie you saw: The Importance of Being Earnest (2003? version) on dvd this weekend.

..movie you saw on the big screen: Crikey. Uhm. I think it might have been Master & Commander. Months ago.

..show you watched on tv: The last show I can remember watching is Forbrukerinspektørene. Wednesday night. I think.

..song you heard: Something on the radio this morning. Love Lift Us Up Where We Belong was on, but I think there was another one after that which I turned off the radio in the middle of.

..thing you had to drink: Coffee

..thing you ate: vafler (Norwegian waffles) – provided free by my employer every Friday lunchtime

..time you showered: Wednesday, I’m afraid.

..time you smiled: minutes ago

..time you laughed: When everyone in development were laughing over the worst album covers ever – part 3 – in adressa

..person you hugged: Martin

..person you talked to online: Martin

..person you talked to on the phone: One of our customers

DO YOU

..smoke? no

..do drugs? no

..drink? yes

..have sex? obviously

..sleep with stuffed animals? no (well, Martin can be sort of stuffed sometimes, and he’s useful as a pillow, but I’m sure that’s not quite what the writer of this meme had in mind)

..play an instrument? no

..believe there is life on other planets? I think it’s probable. Not sure I care, though.

..read the newspaper? I read some online on weekdays, other than that: only very occasionally.

..believe in miracles? Kinda, sorta.

..consider yourself tolerant? Reasonably, yes. I’m not tolerant of intolerance, and not paticularly tolerant of stupidity, but I generally believe people should be free to do what they like (as long as “hurting other people” isn’t what they like, obviously).

..consider police a friend or foe? Friend. A frequently incompetent friend, possibly, but certainly not a foe.

..believe in astrology? no

..believe in magic? no

..go to church? If I’m in a certain frame of mind, but that only happens every other year or so.

..have any secrets? Yes.

..have any pets? no

..go or plan to attend college? BTDT

..talk to strangers? All the time, though usually not voluntarily. Yesterday, for example, this guy on the bus started discussing (or lecturing me on) the current works on the tube and train-lines in Oslo. He then went on, having exhausted that theme, to explain the problems of immigration to me. Amongst other things he sort of compared the immigrants and refugees of today to Hitler’s occupying forces during WWII. Loudly. On the bus. A bus filled with a larger proportion of immigrants than of, say, 4th generation Norwegians. Luckily I had to get off in any case.

..have any piercings? My ears are pierced, but I haven’t worn anything in them for at least ten years. I keep hoping they’ll heal.

..have any tattoos? No.

..hate yourself? No. Except momentarily after having done incredibly stupid things that lead to me hurting people. But only momentarily.

..wish on stars? Of course.

..like your handwriting? Yes. It’s not pretty, but it’s mine.

..believe in witches? Not in the sort who can actually do magic, no.

..believe in ghosts? No. Except possibly in the one that used to share a flat with Janne and me a few years back. (S)he seemed quite real. And it does seem kind of rude not to believe in the existence of someone you share a flat with, after all.

One thought to “Oodles”

  1. My head emptied upon reading the first 3 questions, so I’ll save this for some other time. Fun, but not for now.
