Since I now have a semi-permanent job with reasonable public access, I’ve set up a semi-official bookcrossing zone… Details here and here. Please visit.

A good day to cross
I’ve been a more active bookcrosser lately. Firstly, I discovered that you can sign up for alerts whenever any books are released near you (I know, I probably should have discovered before, but – let’s just face it – I’m a bit slow).
Secondly, I started hanging out in the forums, just a little, and that encourages a bit more effort on the releasing part.

A catch
Not by me, though: Someone’s “caught” one of my bookcrossing releases. Since I released No News at Throat Lake back in the summer of 2002 it’s made it’s way from Ennis, Co. Clare, to Tralee, C. Kerry, apparently, so presumably it’s been picked up before without anyone bothering to write a journal entry. My first “successful” release! Yay!
